AVL Open Day 2026 Brought the Regional PRO AV Community Together in Belgrade

On Wednesday, April 29th, the Congress Hall of Sava Centar became a gathering place for people connected by the same passion - professional audio-visual technology and the work they do every day. AVL Projekt organized its fourth Open Day event and, over the course of a single day, brought together many professionals from across the region.

AVL Open Day

From rental companies and technical crews to theatres, cultural institutions, television broadcasters, production companies, AV professionals and enthusiasts - the idea behind the event was simple: to create a place where people would come, experience technology live and try it for themselves, attend workshops with carefully selected topics, talk with colleagues and simply spend the day in an environment that felt familiar, welcoming and comfortable.

Throughout the day, visitors explored brand zones, attended system demonstrations, participated in workshops and spoke directly with manufacturers’ representatives and industry experts. Although the event had elements of a traditional trade show thanks to the large number of booths and exhibited equipment, the atmosphere inside and around the Congress Hall felt much more like a large gathering of the PRO AV community from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Albania - because that is exactly what it was.

The event featured solutions from the fields of professional audio, lighting, video technologies, stage machinery, rigging systems and control technologies, presented through equipment from some of the world’s most recognized manufacturers.

Special attention was drawn to the workshops, as well as the presentations held at the booths themselves, where visitors had the opportunity to ask questions directly to both local and international experts. Discussions focused on new technologies, practical field experience, everyday professional challenges and the directions in which the industry continues to evolve. Strong interest came from professionals working in rental, broadcast, film and TV production, as well as theatre production.

But perhaps the most important part of the event was not the equipment itself.

The true value of AVL Open Day was giving industry professionals a chance to meet in person - share experience, make new connections, and spend time with people who understand the same work, challenges, and passion for technology.

“We wanted to create an event that would not feel cold or overly trade-show oriented, but rather natural and genuinely useful for people who work in this industry every day. A place where everyone could freely approach, ask questions, try systems and have conversations without formality,” said the AVL Projekt team. “The reactions from visitors showed us that this type of event is truly appreciated among industry professionals.”

Strong support for the event came from AVL Projekt’s partners and vendors, whose technologies and presence significantly contributed to the overall experience and quality of the event.

With excellent attendance, countless conversations, exchanges of experience and a very positive atmosphere throughout the entire day, AVL Open Day 2026 once again demonstrated that professionals and enthusiasts from the PRO AV industry are genuinely interested in innovation, as well as in continuously improving their own knowledge and skills.

AVL Projekt would like to thank all visitors, partners, vendors and friends of the event who took part in AVL Open Day and looks forward to the next gathering.
