The Museum of Contemporary Art is today a communication center where information and content are being exchanged and new models of work are being built. It is open to numerous experiments and researches of contemporary artists and theorists that expand the fields of visual arts, architecture and design into the field of modern science and technology, seeking to actively highlight the connection of art with its environment and social reality.
The implemented solution
In support of the above stated commitments and activities, our company, AVL Projekt participated and won the tender for the procurement of visual-presentation system. Within the scope of the tender, we delivered 4 digital Christie projectors, as well as a mobile projection screen in case.
Christie LW401 3LCD projectors were delivered. They are designed for professional presentations, with a brightness of 4000 ANSI lumens and WXGA resolution (1280x800).
With motorized focus, zoom, and lens shift, and with digital image geometry correction in 8 points, it is possible, via remote control, to easily adjust the projected image on the desired, all in accordance with the desire of the user.
The projector has a USB port for connecting a wireless USB dongle which allows the presenter to wirelessly present data from his presentation PC.
The mobile projection screen Projecta (366x211cm) is packed in a plastic transportation box. Together with the screen, also the aluminum folding design for quick assembly/disassembly in the field was delivered.
The projector maintenance costs are minimal considering that the lamp life is 4.000 h in Eco mode, while the hybrid filter offers a service life of 20.000 h.
