For a high-quality display of the projected image of a larger format a laser projector SONY VPL-PHZ10 has been delivered which will create a 300x187cm picture on the existing motorized screen. Raising or lowering the motorized screen is enabled via wall control or via the RF remote control.
A projector with a laser light source was selected due to energy efficiency, quiet operation and no maintenance costs. In addition, SONY VPL-PHZ10 allows for full-time work during the conference.
The video distribution system is based on HDBaseT technology from ATEN. Namely, the client's request was to enable the presenter to manage the presentation or a computer located in the technical room, via a remote presenter, as well as to track notes during lectures on a monitor discreetly placed in the podium. This is enabled via the ATEN VE813A HDMI/USB HDBaseT Extender.
It is also possible to present content from the podium itself, through the laptop and using the appropriate HDBaseT HDMI&VGA audio signal transmitter VE2812T. The transmitter is at the same time a switcher which enables automatic selection between HDMI and VGA input signals.
The third way to display content on the screen is via Barco Click Share. All video input signals are connected to a quality automatic switcher 4/1 VS481B in the technical room.
The audio signal is extracted from the HDMI signal via the appropriate de-embedder VC880 and forwarded to the existing audio mixer and further to the speakers.
The complete system is connected with high quality, shielded S/FTP CAT6 cables that guarantee smooth operation and even under the influence of technical radiation from the environment.
