Video Presentation System for the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade

The Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade is one of the oldest educational institutions in Serbia. The parliamentary debates over the founding of the faculty began far away in 1879, while the faculty itself was officially opened on December 9, 1920.

The aim of the faculty was then, as it is today, the production of the well educated and professional staff who will be ready at any time to meet even the most complex health challenges. The teaching process goes through the integrated academic, specialist academic, specialist professional, master academic and doctoral studies.


AVL Projekt delivered to this renowned education institution the video equipment that should provide effective and reliable work in the amphitheater where lectures are held for students. The supplied equipment meets the highest standards in terms of image quality and distribution of video signals.


The SONY VPL-PHZ10 laser projector with WUXGA resolution was delivered. The projector has a constant brightness of 5000 lumens thanks to a laser light source that has a life of 20,000 hours. The projector also has an automatic filter cleaning system. There is also a quick start/stop function, so that the lecture can start almost instantaneously.

Sony patented technology BrightEra 3LCD reproduces extremely clear images of great contrast and saturated colors with plenty of details.

The distribution of video signals from the lecturer's desk to the projector goes via Aten VE2812T, HDMI & VGA wired automatic switcher based on HDBaseT technology, connected to the projector via a single network cable
