Sony Laser Projector for The Deže Kostolanji Theatre

Since the Deze Kostolanji’s plays are part of the theater mainstream and artistically hold a significant position in the region, and frequently attend various theater festivals, there is a constant need for adequate innovation of the audiovisual equipment.

Thanks to the successful participation in the tender, our company has delivered and put into operation the Sony VPL-FHZ90 laser projector to the theatre, along with a transport case and accessories.

The projector features 9000 lumens with a standard motorized zoom lens and projection ratio of 1.3-1.96:1, as well as a WUXGA resolution (1920x1200).

The main advantages of a laser light projector compared to classic projector with a lamp are:

• The projector operates almost without any maintenance costs (no replacement of the lamp), while all its key parts are armored: laser, filters, optics, as well as power supply; maintenance is practically reduced to dust removal.
• the lifespan of the light source is 20,000 hours.
• power consumption is up to 40% lower compared to a projector with a lamp.
• the projector is ready to operate immediately, within 5-6 seconds of turning on/off without waiting for the lamp to cool/heat.
• The projector is extremely quiet in operation, the feature so important in theatres;
• the possibility of installation in any position and achieving a 360° angle;
• the device supports HDBaseT technology for transmission of audio/video signals via a network cable;
• Sony's patented BrightEra 3LCD technology delivers extremely clear images with high contrast and saturated color with a multitude of details;
• the possibility of Image Warping, as well as Edge Blending function for larger multi-projector projections;
• the possibility of extremely wide shift of the delivered motorized lens (Lens shift), vertically +/- 99% and horizontally +/- 51%, guarantees the projection from any position in the theater;
