In order to realize the theater and cinema plays, as well as other activities, the Cultural Center decided to purchase a laser projector with signal distribution that enables high-quality audiovisual reproduction of films and other video contents.
The best choice was the Sony VPL-PHZ60 laser projector, which, due to its performance, is an excellent solution when it comes to the price-quality ratio. The projector features a WUXGA resolution, a light source with a life span of at least 20,000, and a light output of 6,000 lumens.
Thanks to the contrast (full white/full black) which is 00:1, it enables extremely crisp images and saturated colors. The projector has an intelligent adjustment function that provides control over multiple parameters (color, brightness, fan noise, etc.). It also has a Bright View function that enables additional illumination enhancement for spaces with higher ambient light.
The projector has flexible installation options due to the wide range of vertical and horizontal lens shift, as well as work in any position (360°). This enables a simple setup according to the need of the scenography element for the theatrical performance. The projector has an HDBaseT input that enables easy distribution of AV signals via S/FTP Cat6 cables without electromagnetic interference or radiation together with the Infobit E70C-T HDMI HDBaseT transmitter. The noise of the video projector during operation is less than 35dB, which is extremely important for a theatre play. The central distribution of AV signals is done via Aten VS482 presentation switcher with 4 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs, as well as an audio input that is connected to the existing audio system.
Its mobility is great thanks to its small dimensions (422x129x338 mm) and weight (about 7 kg).
The mobility and simple management of the implemented projection system will make it easier for the employees of the cultural center to realize performances and other events, and at the same time enrich the experience of the faithful audience.
