AVL Projekt has recently been given the opportunity to renovate and modernize the existing conference room of the company Business Center in Belgrade.

Manually adjustable 21.5 "and 17.3" professional HD displays have been delivered for the main conference room with conferencing and video conferencing system, which has a presentation stand and 21 seats for participants. The displays are touch-sensitive and equipped with an HDMI connector and integrated microphone units on the docking panels for the Chairperson and gooseneck microphones for other participants. They are very elegant and modern in design, have a massive housing, and can be positioned up to 110 ° in relation to the table. The connection plates on the table have been supplied with headphones, as well as with a connection for them.

The principal part of the conference room is Televic conferencing system central unit with multimedia support that controls all delegate and chairperson units, cameras, as well as Dante support for the audio protocol. Control is performed through central management software with a programmable interface. It has audio processing with automatic echo cancellation, sound equalization, dynamic processor and sound recording support. It has HDMI and SDI digital video outputs, as well as an SDI input for connecting an external video signal to the system, and provides synchronized transmission of video and audio 1080p Full HD resolution recordings without delay and lost frames. The Televic conferencing unit also features specialized, easy-to-use modular software which is virus-proof as it uses a unique internal architecture that works only with network conferencing devices.

All devices are connected to the central unit through a network LAN port and UTP Cat6 cable, which enables a secure internal protocol for extremely stable operation and efficient performance of the network itself.

In order for the system to function efficiently, appropriate conferencing software have been installed based on server-client database access and software modules that control every aspect of preparation, flow and administration of the entire conferencing system, as well as software for downloading documents, audio and video signal routing and multi-channel recording.

Several connection boxes for input and output audio video signals, as well as an interface for their sharing, have been installed within the entire conferencing system. In this way, the participants of the meeting are enabled to follow the presentation, speaker, video conferences or other working files from the meeting, as needed.

The system also supports the function of voting via appropriate ID badge that is inserted into the terminal board on the table of the conference participant with the appropriate voting software. The voting buttons are software operated and are installed into the upgradeable monitors of conference table touch screen. As part of the voting system, ID badges with appropriate programmers have been implemented.

The sound system in the conference room consists of high-quality column passive three-system RCF loudspeakers with cardioid polar pattern of a wide horizontal angle of radiation with an amplifier that guarantees adequate coverage of the room, good audibility and intelligibility. Two Audix wireless microphone systems have also been delivered, one with a cardioid lavalier mic and the other with a headset microphone. Diversity reception system enables automatic band scanning as well as the possibility of simultaneous operation of 16 wireless systems at the same time. The pocket transmitter provides 14 hours of work using two AA batteries.

4 Televic PTZ HD cameras with the appropriate selector, controller, computer and software provide the image display of the participants in discussion. They are connected to the central conference multimedia unit by a control software package, which enables positioning and framing according to the programmed presets for each place of the conference participants. Cameras and accessories are fully compatible with the conferencing system, while the IP controller allows easier management and positioning of cameras.

The conference room also has an integrated Televic systems for simultaneous interpreting into three languages with a basic tone (floor) with a multimedia interpreter unit. Interpreting desks are located in the interpreting booths. The interpreting units are powered via a network cable with an RJ-45 connector and allow connection at any point in the serial connection of the conference system. They have a connector for the gooseneck microphone, integrated speaker for monitoring basic tone, buttons for activating or deactivating microphone, language selector, connector for dynamic headphones, or headphone and microphone headset, as well as local volume control on the speaker and headphones.

The multimedia interpreting unit has an HDMI output through which it is possible to monitor the camera image from the room with a delay of 1 ms. Each interpreter is provided with additional displays on which it is possible to display any video material in the system.

The display content of the participants presentations and video conferences in the conference room is achieved through two 4K Sony 75" LCD and four 55" displays. As a result of the brightness of 600 cd/m², the displays guarantee visibility of the presentation content even in a higher ambient light, and are designed to work 18/7.

Distribution of audio and video signals from the display to the technical director and interpreter is done via Infobit audio video 16x16 matrix and the corresponding HDMI HDBaseT extenders.

As part of the audio video system distribution, there is an Aten control device with the possibility of calling predefined scenarios (presets) programmed via tablets. It contains implemented software for configuring system parameters with an intuitive graphical interface and control application (turning the monitor on and off, audio signal levels, etc.). The control system functions via a LAN network that allows direct centralized control of the system via a computer.

In addition to the standard way, video content can also be displayed wirelessly using the Infobit presentation switcher with VGA, USB-C and HDMI connectors. Wireless 2.4GHz/5GHz connectivity is enabled via Airplay and Miracast, while the multiview display on the display provides adjustment of the image layout on the screen according to user preference in different display configurations. The content can be presented from a computer (Windows, iOS) and via mobile devices (iPhone/iPad, Android), and input resolution of up to 4K @ 30Hz is supported.

Aten KVMP desktop switch 4-Port with Display port link connections that supports three connection monitors, which is an efficient solution for productive work in the workplace, is foreseen in the technical direction for controlling multiple computers with different software installed. Through the Aten device with easy access via buttons on the device or via mouse, the resources of four computers are easily shared. Screen resolution optimization is supported, while monitor parameters (EDID) are read and memorized, so there is no delay or change in video resolution when switching between computer selection ports. It uses USB 3.1 Gen 1 connectors, which ensures data transfer at a speed of 5Gbps.

Wireless keypad terminals with a base station for voting are provided as an additional voting system. They provide the ability to select several different types of questions and tests including ranking, and one or more offered options with graphical processing of results within the MS Power Point program and Excel format reports. The system also includes a remote voting system via an installed application on smartphones with a total of 30 licenses.

All signal installations are based on halogen free cables of appropriate cross-section, installed in cable routes with maximum protection against possible RF interference, interception between channels and interference from power cables.

Due to the functions of Televic, Sony, Aten and Infobit equipment that makes up the video system, as well as the RCF and Audix audio components performance, the user is provided with a long-lasting and reliable solution for quality meetings and presentations in the conference room.
