UNHCR Serbia donated a mobile stage to the Technical School in Obrenovac

The UN Refugee Agency - UNHCR was established after World War II to help Europeans from forcibly displaced communities. Today, it helps millions of people in more than 120 countries, while the branch in our country has been active since 1976.

  • Client: UNHCR Serbia
  • Date of project: 2022

Once again, the UNHCR Srbija office has shown its humanity by donating a mobile stage to the Technical School in Obrenovac and hired AVL Projekt for the delivery and training of the persons responsible for future installing and deinstalling.

The mobile stage (600x400 cm) is intended for both outdoor and indoor use. It consists of stage segments (panels) 200 x 100 cm with an aluminum frame. The upper layer of the platform is made of waterproof and fireproof marine plywood with a non-slip surface.

Each platform is equipped with leg corners featuring adjustable height (from 60 to 100 cm), as well as appropriate adjustable stairs with handrails. Each frame of the segment has supports for the legs and an accessory for the connection between the segments and the legs, which guarantees safety and reliability during the realization of the event.

The stage is certified for a load of 750 kg/m², and the maximum weight of one panel is 35 kg. Stage segments have a TUV certificate that confirms all the mentioned parameters.

Thanks to UNHCR's humanitarian initiative, generations of students at the Technical School have been given the opportunity to organize various events and celebrations with the help of a mobile stage, thus witnessing many rememberable and beautiful school moments.
