Let us remind you that as part of the consortium, AVL Projekt delivered and installed state-of-the-art audio and video equipment, stage lighting, as well as stage mechanics in the Concert Hall located within the newly opened facility.
In addition, our task was to deliver and install a functional audio-video presentation system, as well as stage lighting in the amphitheater hall (hall for public classes) of the Music and Ballet School. The hall is intended for smaller music and stage programs, holding public classes and video projections. Thanks to its multifunctional nature, its equipment involved the integration of several different audio-visual systems.
The central part of the installed audio system is the sound system of the hall, which is adapted to different program content and acoustic properties of the space. It consists of two d&b audiotechnik 10S satellites, a d&b E15X-SUB subwoofer, as well as a d&b 10D amplifier located in a rack in the technical control room.
The audio system also includes presentation microphones, namely Audix ADX18 cardioid condenser microphones designed for speakers, as well as hypercardioid wireless dynamic microphones with a handheld transmitter and cardioid condenser lavalier microphones with a pocket transmitter and dual diversity receiver. Wireless microphones are primarily intended for lectures and presentations when the speaker moves outside the lectern area. To ensure better signal coverage, a 4-channel antenna system is installed for additional signal amplification.
The sound control and processing system is housed in a 19" rack cabinet located in the technical control room. The heart of this system is a digital audio matrix-mixer that provides the reception, basic processing, switching and distribution of all audio signals in the hall. The device can be remotely controlled from the hall itself, via the supplied control unit with a touch screen that allows for the recall of predefined audio scenarios (presets).
The Radial Engineering EXO-POD audio distribution amplifier is designed for local signal distribution and journalists during presentations
The video projection system is used for playback of Blu-Ray and DVD video recordings, as well as for supplementing the stage design for smaller concerts with the ability to project onto a projection screen.
It includes a 3LCD Sony VPL-PHZ10 portable laser projector with a light output of 5,000 lumens and a projected lifespan of 20,000 hours.
Thanks to the Aten VP2730 presentation switcher with a built-in HD resolution scaler, video streaming over the internet is possible, while the Aten VE801 extender is used for HDMI signal transmission.
A motorized projection screen (400 x 250 cm) is mounted on the wall at the back of the stage and is used to display images during video presentations or as a supplement to the stage design.
The video projection system also includes a Blu-Ray/DVD player, an LCD monitor for control, and a presentation PC notebook with accompanying software.
The stage lighting system consists of different types of light fixtures. Profile spotlight with a rotating mechanism of stainless steel knives ±25° are supplied for the front light. They have focus settings and shape the light beam as needed (sharp or soft edges). They are equipped with slots for inserting gobos and irises to create additional effects on stage.
Fresnel spotlight made of cast aluminum, intended for side lighting, have a single knob focusing mechanism for changing the angle and quadruple flaps for directing the light beam.
PAR spotlight positioned as a counter light contain four easily interchangeable lenses for a versatile light beam width.
The lighting fixtures are controlled by a lighting console that can program and memorize light settings for a number of scenes, as well as control for 80 control DMX channels.
Finally, after decades of being tenants, the Isidor Bajić Music School and Ballet School have, thanks to the adequate technical-technological equipment of the hall for public classes, gained the conditions for high-quality education and training of their students, as well as a space where the acquired knowledge and skills will be demonstrated to the public through concerts, performances, competitions, and other occasions.
