To enhance the guest experience during the UEFA EURO 2024 broadcasts, the restaurant management sought a high-quality projection solution that would ensure sharp, high-resolution visuals, regardless of ambient lighting conditions.
Our team responded swiftly, delivering a video projection system designed to provide exceptional image clarity and reliability.
At the heart of this setup is the Panasonic PT-VMZ51SEJ laser projector, offering 5,200 lumens of brightness and WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution. This ultra-compact and lightweight model is among the most advanced in its class, featuring 360° installation flexibility and a wide vertical and horizontal lens shift range for optimal positioning. Its laser light source boasts a lifespan of at least 20,000 hours, eliminating the need for frequent maintenance. With a fully enclosed optical system—including sealed laser modules, filters, and power components—maintenance is reduced to occasional dusting, ensuring long-term reliability.
The projection is displayed on a 123" motorized screen (264x165 cm) with a 16:10 aspect ratio, featuring 5 cm black borders to enhance contrast. The high-quality motorized mechanism operates silently and smoothly, allowing for effortless adjustment via remote control.
To maintain signal integrity, the Infobit HDMI optical cable was selected for the connection between the projector and set-top box. This high-performance cable eliminates external RF and electromagnetic interference, ensuring a stable, uninterrupted image.
With this modern projection system, Portofino has significantly elevated its live sports viewing experience, offering guests an immersive, crystal-clear image free from interruptions. Beyond enhancing customer satisfaction, this investment guarantees minimal operational costs and long-term reliability, reinforcing Portofino’s commitment to excellence.
