At the core of the refinery’s conference and presentation facilities is a modern amphitheatre with 140 seats, a state-of-the-art podium, an integrated conference system, and a lectern. To enhance functionality and improve organizational efficiency, we contributed to the modernization of the conference system in this space.
Advanced Conference System
The podium is equipped with 23.8” Full HD desktop displays, featuring HDMI connectivity, and Televic Confidea Flex conference units with high-quality condenser microphones on goosenecks, illuminated status rings, and ID card readers. Each unit includes a built-in speaker and a headphone jack, supporting real-time interpretation monitoring. The entire system is networked via S/FTP Cat6a cables and RJ45 connectors, ensuring stable performance even in the event of a unit failure.
At the heart of the system is the Televic Plixus AE-R central unit, which manages all conference units and cameras through centralized software and a programmable interface. The Televic CoCon Discussion software provides server-client-based control, allowing for seamless conference management, from preparation to execution and administration.
For crystal-clear audio, the system includes a DSP processor with Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) and a USB audio port for multi-channel recording and playback. It is fully compatible with major video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
High-Quality Sound System
The sound system features RCF L 2406T three-way passive column loudspeakers, mounted on both sides of the projection screen. These 200W/8Ω speakers offer a wide frequency range (100Hz – 20kHz) and a 150º x 30º (HxV) coverage pattern, ensuring clear and even sound distribution throughout the amphitheater.
Part of the audio system also includes the dual-channel wireless microphone system Audix AP41 BP A with a head-worn Audix HT2 (headset) microphone with a cardioid polar pattern, and the Audix AP41 OM5 wireless microphone system with a handheld transmitter. The operating frequency is automatically selected via the auto-scan function on the receiver, and the transmitter settings are automatically adjusted via the IR signal. The system has the possibility of simultaneous operation of 16 wireless systems at the same time. The autonomy of the pocket transmitter is 14 hours using two AA batteries.
Video and Presentation Capabilities
Two Televic IP-CAM CM70 PTZ FHD cameras, mounted on the ceiling, automatically capture and frame participants based on programmed presets. The video content is displayed through a SONY VPL-PHZ50 laser projector with 5,000 lumens brightness (WUXGA resolution), a 142” motorized projection screen (305x191cm), and additional 23.8” desktop displays.
For video distribution, the system employs an Infobit iMatrix H88H150 HDBaseT matrix, featuring:
• 8 inputs and 8 outputs, supporting 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) resolution.
• HDMI HDBaseT receivers for high-quality signal transmission.
• Extenders capable of transmitting 4K/60Hz signals up to 120 meters.
• Bidirectional IR and RS232 communication.
• PoC power supply via S/FTP Cat6a network cable.
Additionally, the Infobit iShare 200 wireless presentation system allows wireless content sharing in 4K resolution, supporting Airplay, Miracast, and dual-screen display. Users can connect from Windows, macOS, iOS, Android devices, or use the iShare K31 dongle with USB-A, USB-C, and HDMI connectivity.
Smart Control & Network Infrastructure
A programmable network controller enables centralized management of audio-video equipment and other connected technologies. The supplied Apple iPad features predefined control scenarios tailored to the client’s needs, simplifying tasks like turning displays and projectors on/off, adjusting sound levels, managing content distribution across screens.
The network infrastructure includes a Luminex GigaCore 12 switch, equipped with 12 shielded RJ45 ports, 1Gbps throughput and IGMP snooping for multicast signal distribution.
Secure Installation & Staff Training
All signal installations were completed using halogen-free cables, securely routed through protected cable trays to minimize RF interference and prevent crosstalk between channels.
Upon installation completion, our expert team provided comprehensive training to the refinery’s technical staff, ensuring smooth operation and long-term system reliability. A full as-built project report was also delivered.
