That’s why industry leaders consistently turn to premium brands known for their reliability and excellence. PGSound is one such company.

From formal ceremonies and corporate gatherings to concerts and large-scale festivals, PGSound's portfolio demonstrates deep expertise and the ability to meet diverse production challenges. Beyond their skilled team, the foundation of their service is cutting-edge equipment—ensuring stability, crystal-clear audio, and consistent performance in all conditions.

In their pursuit of a compact yet powerful touring solution, PGSound chose the XSL series from d&b audiotechnik—the smallest model in d&b’s flagship SL-Series, yet a true powerhouse. Despite its compact footprint and lightweight build, the XSL delivers remarkable acoustic energy and high sound pressure levels. Its cardioid design significantly reduces rearward sound emissions, minimizing onstage noise and delivering cleaner, more focused sound.

The XSL is equipped with neodymium drivers for superior precision in coverage, and is powered by the d&b D40 amplifier, which supports MILAN, AES3, and analog input formats. PGSound integrates the XSL with the legendary B22 subwoofers to complete the system’s robust low-end response.

At the heart of the mixing setup is the DiGiCo Quantum 225 digital console, offering a 17-inch multitouch screen for streamlined, intuitive operation. With 25 faders, up to 96 input channels, and 36 output channels, it provides extensive flexibility. Connectivity options include MADI, Optocore, UBMADI, and DMI slots. Advanced features such as Mustard Processing, the Spice Rack plugin suite, Nodal Processing, and True Solo enable precise sound shaping and creative control. The system also includes the MQ-Rack, offering 48 mic inputs and 24-line outputs, along with AES/EBU and MADI digital support.

For plugin processing, the system features the revolutionary Fourier Audio Transform Engine—a dual-redundant server that brings studio-grade VST3 plugins to the live stage with zero latency and full reliability. Compatible with all Windows-based VST3 plugins, it gives audio engineers the power of high-end studio processing in a format built to withstand the rigors of live production.

To round out the monitoring system, KLANG:fabrik adds a new dimension with its 3D in-ear monitoring capabilities. It allows for immersive, spatial audio mixing, enhancing the artist’s in-ear experience with intuitive, multi-channel positioning in a fully three-dimensional field.

With this new suite of advanced audio tools, PGSound has further reinforced its ability to meet the highest technical standards in the rental industry—delivering precision, reliability, and creative freedom across every detail of production.
