We recently had the opportunity to equip the conference rooms of KM Mont, a long-standing leader in the manufacturing industry known for its commitment to quality, reliability, and innovation. In line with its forward-thinking approach, the company chose to modernize its communication infrastructure by integrating interactive displays into its meeting spaces.
The installed units include 65” and 86” professional-grade interactive displays, featuring infrared (IR) touch technology with support for up to 40 simultaneous touch points. These displays deliver exceptional 4K resolution, 450 cd/m² brightness, and a 178° viewing angle, ensuring clarity and visibility in any environment. Built on IPS panels with 4mm thick tempered anti-glare glass, they offer durability and excellent image quality even in brightly lit rooms.
Powered by the Android operating system, the displays include a fast processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 256GB eMMC storage. Integrated WiFi and Bluetooth modules enable seamless wireless connectivity, while Google EDLA (Enterprise Devices Licensing Agreement) certification ensures advanced security and access to a wide range of Android applications.
Each display is equipped with a built-in 4K/30 camera offering a wide 94° field of view, along with microphones featuring a 9-meter pickup range and built-in echo and noise cancellation software. Clear and natural sound reproduction is further enhanced by integrated 20W speakers and additional subwoofers, ensuring optimal speech intelligibility.
Connectivity is made easy with a comprehensive set of input ports located on all sides of the display, including HDMI, USB-C, DP, VGA, USB-A 3.0, and more. For wireless sharing, the EShare application allows users to stream content directly from their devices.
The displays come with built-in software designed to optimize content management and support a variety of formats such as PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Integrated drawing tools allow users to highlight key information, annotate documents in real time, and save changes directly to a USB drive connected to the front panel.
Beyond their presentation capabilities, the displays function as fully interactive whiteboards, offering features like customizable backgrounds, pen types, mathematical formula support, function plotting, and table creation. The option to split the screen into two or three independent zones enables multiple users to work simultaneously, each with their own tools and preferences.
Advanced software features also include remote control of operating schedules, input source management, screen locking, and user role assignment. These tools are especially useful in shared environments, allowing each user to access a personalized workspace while maintaining system security.
Upon delivery and installation, our technical team conducted an on-site training session for KM Mont staff, ensuring they could immediately begin utilizing the full capabilities of the new interactive systems.
