As part of a European project and in collaboration between Hungary and Serbia, the City Department for Culture of Novi Sad has acquired modern audiovisual equipment for the Svilara Cultural Station.
The project included cinema equipment as well as additional portable audio and lighting systems, significantly enhancing the venue’s technical infrastructure.
Advanced Cinema and Audio Systems
The cinema setup features a Panasonic PT-MZ882WEJ laser projector with an output of 8,200 lumens, equipped with a compatible lens, and a projection screen designed for sound transparency.
The system is fully integrated with Dolby 7.1 audio. A Dolby audio processor handles signal distribution, and all speakers are certified for accurate Dolby sound reproduction. For an immersive cinema experience, the audio system includes eight speakers: front left and right, center, subwoofer, left and right-side surrounds, and left and right rear surrounds. Together, these deliver precise and immersive sound.
This system is used to screen a wide range of film genres, forming an essential part of the regular programming at Svilara Cultural Station.
Contemporary Equipment for Conferences and Panels
Alongside the cinema setup, a versatile portable audio system was installed to support conferences, panel discussions, and other events at the cultural center. The system features RCF active speakers, a professional audio mixer, and a full complement of wired and wireless microphones.
The Audix wireless microphone system, paired with DPA microphones, offers four channels and seamless use of handheld, headset, and lavalier microphones, ensuring clear and reliable sound for every event.
Lighting Solutions That Inspire Creativity
A portable lighting system has also been installed, which can be easily set up depending on the event’s requirements. Versatile Chauvet FREEDOM FLEXH9X6 fixtures with battery power are supplied in transport cases that charge up to six units each. These lights create a unique atmosphere within the cultural center and can also be controlled via smartphone using an additional controller.
