The Need for Quality Control Lighting

The most spectacular show competition in the region "I’ve got talent!", after the great season last year, has put under the control of the ETC ION lighting console the entire lighting of the semifinals and final evening competition this year.

The implemented solution

ETC Ion lighting console is the most compact of the series Eos (only 19 " wide). It has a functional and spacious keyboard and represents extremely functional solution for events of all sizes combining conventional control, LED lighting and moving.

The desk has 4 encoders for the parameters control, grand master and blackout, as well as master split fader. Thanks to its intuitive new software (EOS), Ion provides the possibility of extending to 3-universal-fader wing, making it very adaptable for control of small, medium and even large lighting systems.

There are five basic configuration of the console with 1024, 1536, 2048, 2560 and 3072 outputs and each version supports numbering from 1 to 10,000 channels. With Universal fader wing (1x20, 2x10 or 2x20) and multiple Cue lists 300 submasters have been made. The console also provides the ability to connect up to two external DVI monitors which can be also touch screens.

A networked Ion system can connect and support up to four control inputs including a combination of Ion consoles and Ion remote processor units (backup), Net3 Remote Video Interface, or an ordinary computer using Eos Client software. The console allows remote control with an ordinary cordless phone and with the radio connection and has two DMX512 outputs expandable via Ethernet to an additional 6 outputs, and MIDI input / output.
